Declan McDonagh Stood Down At Curragh

Declan McDonagh was unseated from Pillar Of Hercules when the horse stumbled after passing the winning post following the One Mile Handicap at the Curragh on Saturday.

McDonagh was stood down for the rest of the day and sent to Naas hospital for precautionary x-rays.

´He was very tender high up on his neck,´ said Turf Club medical officer Dr. Aidrian McGoldrick.
