Dettori misses Chester mounts

Frankie Dettori will miss his three intended rides at Chester today as he is suffering from a heavy cold.

The Italian was due to partner Michael Jarvis` Kayseri in the day`s feature race, the Group Three Victor Chandler Chester Vase.

But his agent Ray Cochrane confirmed he sit out today`s action although he could be back riding tomorrow.

Cochrane said: 'He`s got a heavy cold and is feeling a bit under the weather so he`s giving it a miss today.

'He will be back tomorrow as long as he`s feeling better.'
