Doubles All Round Joanna Morgan completed a 10/1 across-the-card double when Dbest took his career total to twelve in the featured Cork Handicap Chase. Johnny Cullen rode this versatile and hardy sort to a convincing seven length success to justify 7/4 favouritism. Morgan had earlier won the Dermot Hughes Toyota Car Sales Handicap at Roscommon with the Pat Smullen ridden Funatfuntasia. Pat Fahy was also on the mark at both venues. His brace rewarded supporters at odds of 67/1. Lisa Bleu scored at Cork under Robert McCarth whilst Fran Berry guided Ragged Staff to a length and a half victory in the Property Partners Earley Auctioneers Handicap at Roscommon. Meanwhile Davy Russell was back in business straight away on his return from injury, Tetouan taking the opener at Cork for Mick Murphy.
