Draw No Concern To Author Team

Peter Chapple-Hyam is not concerned about Authorized being drawn widest of all in the Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe at Longchamp tomorrow.

The Epsom Derby and Juddmonte International hero must race from stall 12 after all the leading fancies stood their ground at the final declaration stage.

A lower berth has more often than not proved advantageous over the years, but Chapple-Hyam said: 'He's drawn 12 of 12, which I think will be good as we can stay out of trouble.

'I can't sleep and I just want it to be now ? I can't wait.

'The boys couldn't be happier with him ? he's cantered every day and is as good as gold.

'I've never been as happy with him as I am now.'

He added: 'I expect a very tough race ? there's Soldier Of Fortune, Mandesha, and I like the German horse too (Saddex) ? his form is good.

'I just hope and believe Authorized will be turning for home still on the bridle. It would be unbelievable to win the race and it's something that would never happen to me again.'
