Drinmore Date for Aran Concerto Aran Concerto will bid to make it two out of two over fences in Sunday's Bar One Racing Drinmore Novices' Chase at Fairyhouse. The seven-year-old returned from 20 months on the sidelines to win at Navan earlier this month and pleased connections with a piece of work this week. "He came out of his last race well and has been in good form since. He worked very well on Tuesday morning and we were very pleased with him," trainer Noel Meade said. The handler is hoping the gap between races has been long enough for his charge. "This is a big step up for him, he was off the track for a long time and his first race back was an ordinary enough contest and while he won it well, he did get tired. "We're coming back three weeks later and hopefully it's enough time. He's probably a better horse on a bit better ground than he'll get on Sunday but is in good shape."
