Drunken Fine After Drinmore Spill

Drunken Disorderly is set to reappear at Christmas after showing no ill-effects following his fall at Fairyhouse.

Charlie Swan's charge was in second place, and probably in line for place honours, when getting rid of David Casey at the second-last fence in the Ballymore Properties Drinmore Novice Chase on Sunday.

'He's fine, there's not a bother on him,' said Swan.

'He keeps going and he stays well. He would have run well and finished second or third.'

Now Swan is considering races at Leopardstown and Limerick for the seven-year-old, who had won his only two previous races over the bigger obstacles.

Leopardstown stage the Durkan New Homes Novice Chase on Boxing Day and the Knight Frank Ganly Walters Novice Chase on December 28, while there is also a prize at Limerick tempting Swan.

Meanwhile, Swan believes Offshore Account may have had an 'off-day' when proving a disappointment behind Kauto Star in the Betfair Chase.

Offshore Account was having his first race for seven months, having run up a sequence of four victories earlier in the year.

'He seems OK. I don't know whether he just had an off-day or what,' said Swan.

'He did a couple of coughs afterwards but nothing major.

'He may run around Christmas or just after in the new year.'
