EL BETRUTTI TO MISS NATIONAL Senor El Betrutti will miss Saturday`s Martell Grand National at Aintree.Trainer Susan Nock decided today not to declare the gelding for the #500,000 spectacular due to a forecast of heavy rain at the Merseyside course over the next 24 hours.She said: 'I spoke to the clerk of the course Ian Renton first thing this morning and he said that although the going was perfect at the moment there is a lot of rain forecast for today and even more tomorrow.'There didn`t seem any point in declaring him and then pulling him out later and depriving someone of the chance to run.'It is disappointing but sometimes these things are meant to be.'
