Elletelle Primed For skybet.com Cheveley Park Stakes Ger Lyons today expressed his delight with star filly Elletelle ahead of her assignment in the £170,000 Group One skybet.com Cheveley Park Stakes, run over six furlongs of the NatWest Rowley Mile at Newmarket on Friday, October 5. The daughter of Elnadim, rated a 10/1 chance with sponsor Sky Bet, has been in tremendous form this year, following success in the Group Two Queen Mary Stakes at Royal Ascot in June with third place finishes in the Group Two Irish Thoroughbred Marketing Cherry Hinton Stakes on Newmarket's July Course and the Group One Phoenix Stakes at the Curragh on August 12.Ger Lyons said today: 'Elletelle ran well last time but the ground was totally against her. She is now Group One placed, so it wasn't a wasted excursion, and the track was beside us so we didn't have to do any travelling. The next objective was always going to be the skybet.com Cheveley Park Stakes.'The ground at the Curragh last time was basically unraceable for her - it was very heavy. But she is such a quality filly that Johnny [Murtagh] thought he might win two furlongs out. 'She is in superb order and she will travel over tonight. She had her last little blow this morning and we couldn't be happier with her. Her weight is up 20 kilos so she's in top shape and the faster the ground the better. I'm just delighted to have Elletelle and wouldn't swap her for anything in the world.'Despite showing a tendency to break slowly in her races, a trait which arguably cost her victory in the Irish Thoroughbred Marketing Cherry Hinton Stakes, Lyons is not unduly concerned ahead of Elletelle's appearance in the skybet.com Cheveley Park Stakes. The County Meath trainer continued: 'Although I would prefer Elletelle to jump off level with them, I don't think it is a massive problem. She can run free and Johnny tends to think that being slowly away just helps her to settle better. It is a little kink, however in time I'm sure it will sort itself out. It is a slight concern, but nothing more than that.'Elletelle is a very straightforward filly and owes me nothing. We see her as a Guineas filly and that is why we have given her a light season. She must have a great each-way chance on Friday. Being involved in these races is what the game is all about and we'll enjoy the day.'Latest Sky Bet prices:11/4 Visit, 100/30 Fleeting Spirit, 5/1 Natagora, 8/1 Missit, 10/1 Elletelle, 14/1 Unilateral, 16/1 Festoso, 20/1 Falconry, Lady Aquitaine, Perfect Polly, Polar Circle, 33/1 Dubai Princess, Lady Avenger, 40/1 Gone Fast
