English runner stranded in US Michael Jarvis is still awaiting the return to his Newmarket stables of globe-trotting mare Ela Athena, it was revealed today.Yesterday`s horrific events in America, where terrorists launched a devastating attack on New York`s World Trade Centre, and the Pentagon in Washington DC, resulted in all flights throughout the States being grounded. All of which means the five-year-old, who finished an excellent third, beaten just two lengths, behind With Anticipation and Silvano in the Grade One Man O`War Stakes at Belmont Park, is stuck at the track.'She`s not back yet, she`s still at Belmont,' explained the trainer this morning. 'Unfortunately, she was due to fly over on Monday but there was a delay and it was put back 24 hours and, of course, the balloon went up then.'I`m not sure when she will be back. I wish I knew. I`ve been in touch with our staff there but obviously they don`t know much more than anyone else.'There is a chance they may be shipped up to Canada.'My understanding is that transatlantic flights may start in Canada before they start from America.'So if we get her up there she may be able to get home that way.'
