Equerry to feature at Longchamp The Godolphin-owned Equerry, ridden by Irish jockey Jamie Spencer, returns to his old stamping ground on Sunday when he contests the Group Three Prix du Prince d`Orange over 10 furlongs at Longchamp. It was on the corresponding fixture last year that the colt won the Group Three Prix des Chenes over a mile for his former trainer Andre Fabre.Equerry has yet to race this term. The colt was to have contested a Listed race at York earlier this month, but was withdrawn as the ground was deemed too fast.Equerry will face six rivals and he may have most to fear from Maille Pistol, the winner of two French Derby trials.Sagacity, winner of the Group One Criterium de Saint-Cloud as a juvenile, is coming to the race after a Group Two third to Masterful at Deauville. The Fabre runner must also be respected in a field containing Breknen Le Noir, Red Snake, Chronos and Poussin.
