Europe back in action at Punchestown next month Sizing Europe will return to action at Punchestown next month in the Grade 1 Maplewood Developments Hurdle. Last season's beaten favourite in the Smurfit Champion Hurdle will remain over the smaller obstacles with another trip to the Cheltenham Festival ultimately on the agenda. 'He looks great, has done nicely over the summer and is moving really well,' said trainer Henry de Bromhead. 'We will see how he gets on there before deciding where we go next but his target again will be the Champion Hurdle at the Cheltenham Festival.' Connections had mulled a switch to chasing but those plans have been shelved as de Bromhead added, 'We did think it over but have decided the best idea is to stick to hurdling.'
