Hurricane Floyd will not run again this season, it was announced today.
Jeremy Noseda`s smart two-year-old, an unlucky-in-running fourth in the Gimcrack Stakes on his previous start, finished last of seven behind Bouncing Bowdler in the Group Two Dubai Duty Free Mill Reef Stakes at Newbury on Saturday.
'He finished lame on Saturday and is finished for the season,' Noseda said.
The Newmarket trainer reports 'no problem' with Man O`Mystery, who finished sixth of seven behind Hightori in a Group Three contest at Longchamp on Saturday.
Man O`Mystery is a 14-1 shot with Ladbrokes for the Tote Cambridgeshire and Noseda said that a decision on the colt`s participation at Newmarket would be taken later this week.
