Fanshawe looking forward to Spacious

James Fanshawe is counting down the days to the stanjamesuk.com 1000 Guineas as he puts the final touches to the preparation of Spacious.

Owned by Cheveley Park, who also have Nell Gwyn winner Infallible in Sunday´s Group One feature, the Nayef filly won both her starts at two.

She has not been seen since winning the May Hill at Doncaster in September, but continues to give off the right signals as her date with destiny approaches.

"We have only ever had one other runner in the 1000 Guineas and that was Soviet Song and she finished fourth," said Fanshawe.

"Spacious is improving all the time and I have been pleased with her work.

"Fingers crossed she will run well for everyone," the Newmarket trainer told his official website.
