Fifteen stand ground in Oaks

There were no surprise withdrawals as 15 fillies stood their ground at today`s confirmation stage for Friday`s Stg#325,000 Vodafone Oaks at Epsom.

They included Foodbroker Fancy and Zanzibar who were both supplemented for the Classic yesterday, at a cost of Stg#20,000 each.

John Dunlop has left in Tattersalls Musidora Stakes winner Time Away - who is quoted at 5-1 by Ladbrokes 'with a run' - and Silver Grey Lady. His son Ed could be double-handed with Mot Juste and Candice.

Sir Michael Stoute has left in both his fillies, the Queen`s Flight Of Fancy and Gay Heroine.

Aidan O`Brien has taken out Sequoyah and Snowflake, leaving the ante-post favourite Imagine as the Irish trainer`s sole representative.

There will be no French runner as both Choc Ice and Nadia were not among the 15 left in the mile-and-a-half Group One feature.

Vodafone Oaks: Candice, Flight Of Fancy, Gay Heroine, Imagine, Mameha, Mot Juste, Najah, Relish The Thought, Santa Isobel, Silver Grey Lady, Sunstone, Tarfshi, Time Away, Foodbroke Fancy, Zanzibar (15).
