Finalmente Tackles Sandown Assignment

Finalmente returns to the racecourse at Sandown on Saturday after his laudable fourth-placed finish in the Gold Cup.

Neville Callaghan´s five-year-old defied a 66-1 starting price to get to within eight and a half lengths of Yeats at Royal Ascot.

The Kahyasi gelding now takes a considerable drop in class and trip for the Listed Addleshaw Goddard Stakes, which was won in 2003 by Persian Punch.

'He definitely runs on Saturday and Jimmy Fortune rides,' confirmed Newmarket-based Callaghan.

'He did really well at Ascot and we were very happy with that. He´s come out of that well and I think he´s in good form.

'I don´t know about the ground but he stays well so he should be OK if it´s a test of stamina.'
