Flyer fine after Leopardstown fall

Moscow Flyer is none the worse for his fall at Leopardstown on Sunday, according to trainer Jessica Harrington.

The eight-year-old lost his footing after hitting the top of the fifth fence in the Baileys Arkle Perpetual Challenge Cup which was eventually won by Ruby Walsh on Assessed.

Mrs Harrington says Moscow Flyer has suffered no ill effects from his mishap but admits plans for his next run have not yet been finalised.

She said: 'He seems to be fine, he ate up last night and is grand in his box this morning.

'He has been entered for Punchestown next week but whether he runs there or not is a different matter.'

Moscow Flyer is now on offer at 5-1 with William Hill for the Irish Independent Arkle Challenge Trophy at the Cheltenham Festival and Mrs Harrington insists he is still on target for the race.

She added: 'The plan is still to go to Cheltenham and everything is on track for that.'
