Footsteps Set For Late Campaign Followmyfootsteps, who ran with great credit in both the French and Irish 2000 Guineas, will not run until later in the season. The David Wachman-trained son of Giant´s Causeway only had one run as a juvenile but has emerged as a classy three-year-old this term.He was beaten just over three lengths behind Aidan O´Brien´s Astronomer Royal at Longchamp before finishing three lengths in arrears of dual Guineas winner Cockney Rebel at the Curragh. He holds an entry in the St James´s Palace Stakes at Royal Ascot but Wachman is keen to give him a break.'I´ll probably put him away until August or September time,' said the County Tipperary handler.'He has an entry in the Sussex Stakes at Goodwood (August 1) but that may come just a tad too soon for him.'He´s still very inexperienced but he has shown a high level of form already. He might just turn into a nice four-year-old.'(C) PA Sport
