Successful at the venue just last Friday, Persian Bliss completed a quick double for Adrian Murray, Wayne Lordan and owners AMO Racing Limited in the William Hill Top Price Guarantee Handicap.

Now three wins from five career starts, all of which have come at Dundalk, the Advertise four-year-old was sent to post a 7/2 chance (from 11/4 early), on what was his second try over two miles.

Settled in second, the 88-rated colt was pushed along to challenge early in the straight and soon improved to lead.

Ridden and pressed by Pavilion End with over a furlong to go, he ultimately outstayed that rival in the closing stages, with two and a quarter lengths between them at the line.

The runner-up was well-supported from 9/1 to 9/2, with Jack Kearney aboard this one for Charles O'Brien.

Returned the 6/5 favourite (from 9/4 early), Jabbar never landed a blow and finished last of the six.

"He hit the line strong," Murray, who won the previous race with Valiant Force commented.

"He keeps surprising us. A beautifully relaxed horse.

"I think there might be a rated race back here for him in a couple of weeks time (over an extended 10-furlongs).

"I'd say good ground would be the key to him because his puff (wind) wouldn't be the best.

"Yes, for sure (could see him going two miles on turf) because he probably won better here today than he did the last day."

STEWARDS REPORTS

The Raceday Stewards granted a request from Gerard O'Leary, trainer of Jabbar, for an additional ten minutes to present his charge for identification by an IHRB Official in accordance with the provisions of Rule 90.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Jabbar, trained by Gerard O'Leary, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.
