GROUND CHANGE FOR DERBY

The going for the three days at the Curragh is set to ride soft.

The Turf Club issued a notice on Friday morning (8.18am) stating that following 11.2mls of rain overnight the ground was good to yielding.

Persistant rain throughout the rest of Friday morning will ensure an even softer surface come race time.

Patrons travelling to the Curragh today are advised to allow extra time for their journey as heavy traffic is expected in the area for the Eminem concert at Punchestown racecourse.
