Balantina, who was ruled out of the Group 3 Silver Flash Stakes at Leopardstown this evening, is set to be rerouted to Deauville.

Donnacha O'Brien's Ten Sovereigns filly ran a stormer in third in the Group 3 Albany at Royal Ascot and the form received a significant boost boost when the winner, Venetian Sun, followed up in a Group 2 at Newmarket.

Speaking yesterday, O'Brien said: “She was a little bit off. I was 60/40 going to run her but I didn’t think she was 100 per cent this morning and, with the soft ground, it made the decision easy.

“She’ll go to the Group 3, the Six Perfections, on the same day as the Rothschild (in Deauville) - all being well, as long as she’s back to herself later in the week.”

O'Brien's Atsila is also scheduled to travel over for the Group 1 Prix Rothschild.
