Go Racing Returns In January TV3 and Horse Racing Ireland have signed a contract for a new series of Go Racing. The 15-week series will begin on the 20th of January 2005, with well-known racing expert Brian Gleeson returning as the programme´s presenter.Go Racing reached 1.4 million views in this year´s summer series (22nd April - 29th July). The programme was short-listed for the Best Sports Programme Award at this year´s Irish Film and Television Awards.The new series, which will cover the winter racing season will be shot entirely on location. It will focus on preparations for the major National Hunt Festivals of Cheltenham, Fairyhouse, Aintree and Punchestown. Highflyer Ireland has once again been commissioned to produce the series. 'The series brings our viewers a distinct perspective on a thrilling aspect of Irish sport and life. We are very pleased to be able to bring viewers into the world of national hunt following our first two series covering the summer racing,' said Jane Gogan, TV3´s Commissioning Editor.
