Godolphin set for Newmarket return Godolphin have their first runners of the season in Britain tomorrow headed by Kutub and Marienbard`s challenge for the Sagitta Jockey Club Stakes at Newmarket.The horses flew in from Dubai on Monday and their first representative will be Moon Ballad in the second race on the card, the Pearl And Coutts Newmarket Stakes.Moon Ballad finished fourth to stable companion and Kentucky Derby hope Essence Of Dubai at Nad Al Sheba in March so will lack nothing in fitness.One of his main rivals in the 10-furlong Listed contest will be John Gosden`s impressive Newbury winner Judgement.There is a total of 10 runners in the Group Two Jockey Club Stakes and the Godolphin horses will face a tough task with the likes of Storming Home and Millenary, fourth and fifth respectively to Galileo in the King George VI And Queen Elizabeth Diamond Stakes at Ascot last July set to go to post.Millenary, the 2000 St Leger winner, will be bidding to repeat his victory of 12 months ago in the race.Geoff Wragg`s one-time Vodafone Derby hope Asian Heights returns to action in the 12-furlong contest after being on the sidelines following an injury suffered during the build-up to the Epsom Classic.High Pitched represents Henry Cecil and this progressive but headstrong four-year-old will wear blinkers for the first time in public tomorrow.Cecil also has Year Two Thousand in the race while another interesting contender is the Mark Johnston-trained Zindabad, a good winner at Newbury last time.Amanda Perrett`s Maniatis and Potemkin from Richard Hannon`s yard complete the line-up.Godolphin`s other runner on the first day of the Guineas Meeting is the four-year-old filly Spring Oak, who lines up for the Listed Directa Parseal Dahlia Stakes.Formerly trained in France by Andre Fabre, Spring Oak went to Dubai after finishing third to Banks Hill in the Breeders` Cup Filly And Mare Turf at Belmont Park in October and she is now in the care of Godolphin trainer Saeed bin Suroor.Simon Crisford, Godolphin`s racing manager, said: 'Spring Oak is a very interesting filly and we`re looking forward to seeing her in action.'She`s a very talented horse. I`m sure she`s a filly who will progress further, and we`re thinking about races like the Pretty Polly in Ireland and the Nassau at Goodwood.'
