Watering is taking place at many Irish courses currently due to a recent dry spell, with little rain forecast over the coming days.

Leopardstown races on Thursday, where the Listed Tote Irish EBF Vinnie Roe Stakes takes centre stage, and the ground currently is good, good to firm in places following selective watering. The course has a dry forecast.

Killarney’s three-day August festival begins on Thursday where the ground on the National Hunt course is good, good to firm in places, with watering taking place. The Flat course is good, with selective watering happening.

The Curragh races on Saturday, where the ground is good to firm on the straight course and good to firm, firm in places on the round track. Watering is taking place on both tracks, with a dry and warm forecast over the coming days

Naas, which races on Sunday, is good to firm with watering also taking place.
