Goodwood called off due to mist.

Goodwood was finally called off following the inspection at 2.45pm.

'The conditions have worsened and we have had no alternative due to health and safety,' said a spokesman.

'We had a glimmer of hope around three-quarters of an hour ago but sadly it didn´t improve and I am sure and know that we have done the right thing.

'All racegoers will get a refund.'
