Grassick has Champions Weekend target for Glory To Be A step up in class is on the cards for Glory To Be, after she was narrowly denied at the Curragh last month. Previously trained by the late Kevin Prendergast and placed three times from four starts to date, Michael Grassick now has a Champions Weekend target in mind for the chestnut three-year-old. "I thought she had won (on her last start at the Curragh)," Grassick reflected. "She's still a maiden and we might run her on Irish Champions Weekend - she will be out of the handicap, but the owners (the Back Nine Bandits Partnership) are looking for a day out. The plan is to go there (World Pool Bet With Tote Autumn Fillies Handicap at Leopardstown) at the moment. "She will more than likely still be a maiden after it, but it doesn't bother her if she goes up 10lb. "We might move her on at the end of the year." Additional reporting by Michael Graham
