Hayes Continues in Good Form Fresh from a double at Ballinrobe on Monday night, Chris Hayes registered another brace at Fairyhouse, at odds of just over 48/1, when Choose Me and Mesmerize Me did the business under the Limerick native. Choose Me landed the opening maiden for Mrs Whitehead and Kevin Prendergast whilst the two-timer was completed for Hayes on Ray McGlinchey´s Mesmerize Me, who came from last to first in the final furlong to win the Ballybin Handicap. This one is owned by Kevin Crossan and was purchased out of the Ed McMahon yard for 27,000 guineas at Tattersalls last October. The Crossan/McGlinchey alliance had their finest hour when Incline triumphed in the Tote Galway Mile last year and this Mind Games gelding also has that Ballybrit Tuesday night highlight as his target. Meanwhile 2.4 million dollar yearling, Giant Among Men, just held on in the Macetown Maiden, to the delight of those that backed him from odds of 11/4 in the morning into a returned 11/10.
