Henry heads Seven for the Sussex Dual 2000 Guineas winner Henrythenavigator heads a seven-strong field for the BGC Sussex Stakes at Goodwood on Wednesday. Aidan O'Brien's brilliant colt, who won the St James's Palace Stakes on his latest start, will be accompanied to post by his stablemate Windsor Palace. The John Gosden-trained Raven's Pass, who ran Henrythenavigator to three-quarters of a length at Royal Ascot, will again do battle. Peter Chapple-Hyam is double-handed with Tariq and Winker Watson, while Major Cadeaux from Richard Hannon's stable and the Andrew Balding-trained Dream Eater complete the line-up. Dream Eater has a bit to find on Henrythenavigator after finishing fifth behind him in the Newmarket 2000 Guineas, after which he finished third to Aqlaam in the Jersey Stakes at Royal Ascot. Now Balding hopes Dream Eater can step up to the mark in what is a tough test. "He's run two very solid races this year but obviously he'd have to step up on that to give the principals a run for their money. He's in good nick and we're very happy with him," said the Kingsclere trainer.
