Heroine possible for Leger Connections of Unsung Heroine will wait until the 11th hour before deciding whether to take on the colts in the Ladbrokes St Leger at Doncaster next month. The High Chaparral filly was a short-priced favourite when making a winning debut at Fairyhouse last month and took the step up to Group company in her stride when landing the Give Thanks Stakes at Cork last week. Tommy Stack's filly also has the option of the Park Hill Stakes at the same meeting on Town Moor and will assess the competition in both races before making a decision. "She did it really well at Cork the last day and we were very pleased with her," said Stack's son and assistant, Fozzy. "She will run in either the Park Hill or the Leger, but we won't decide which one until we have seen what is likely to run in both races. "She has always been a very nice filly and we have always thought a lot of her."
