Hogan Targets Double Raid Tom Hogan hopes to represented in the two feature races at Ascot on Saturday. The County Tipperary-based handler intends to run Sonnyanjoe in the BGC Long Walk Hurdle and is praying Silver Jaro makes the cut in the Ladbroke Handicap Hurdle.'We'll be sending Sonnyanjoe over and Silver Jaro too if he gets in,' said Hogan.Sonnyanjoe has had a successful time in Britain on his last three starts, winning at Chepstow and Cheltenham and finishing second to Millenium Royal at Haydock. Now he gets the chance to compete at Grade One level.'He might as well play with the big boys now,' Hogan went on.'Paddy Brennan is adamant that he can acquit himself reasonably well and can mix it. He rides him on Saturday.'Silver Jaro needs 11 horses to come out to make a maximum 18-strong field for the Ladbroke. The four-year-old showed his well-being when second to Majestic Concorde at Navan on Sunday and has come out of the race in fine shape.'He's in great form and I'd like Paddy to ride him as well, but it depends on what Nigel Twiston-Davies does. I think he runs Pigeon Island. If he doesn't, then Paddy will ride.'Good ground will be OK for both my horses.'Sonnyanjoe is available at 20-1 for the Long Walk while Silver Jaro is 33-1 with the sponsors for the Ladbroke.(C) PA Sport
