Horse Racing Ireland Goes Racing with TV3. Horse Racing Ireland (HRI) have announced a new TV series for racing fans starting on the 6th of June on tvthree. HRI recently announced in their 5-year Strategic Plan a commitment to develop a dedicated racing programme.tvthree has commissioned independent production company Highflyer Ireland to produce a new series Go Racing. The series will provide viewers and racing enthusiasts with an insider’s guide to the world of horse racing in Ireland and will run for 13 weeks over the summer months. The half-hour weekly programme will be broadcast at 22.30 on Friday night beginning 6th June 2003 and repeated at 10.00 on Saturday morning. The series will be sponsored by Horse Racing Ireland.Go Racing will be presented by well-known racing presenter Brian Gleeson who will be joined by studio guests drawn from the industry. Studio discussion will include news and views of significant events on the racing calendar, profile leading industry figures, providing viewers with a unique opportunity to experience up close the industry and its culture.
