Hourigan to wait on Beef Or Salmon´s participation at Punchestown. Trainer Michael Hourigan is to decide in the morning whether or not Beef Or Salmon is to run in the John Durkan Memorial Chase at Punchestown.The Co Limerick trainer, speaking at Thurles today, said “Beef Or Salmon is well and has been cantering for a while since recovering from his overreach.”He added “he has done two bits of work but I’ll wait until tomorrow morning to make a decision on running him in the John Durkan Memorial Chase. If he doesn’t run at Punchestown we’ll run him the following weekend in the Hilly Way Chase at Cork.” Beef Or Salmon contested and won both races last year.
