Huntingdon goes ahead

This afternoon's high-profile meeting at Huntingdon, featuring the Grade 2 Peterborough Chase, has been given the green light after the track passed a second morning inspection at 10am.

Clerk of the course Andrew Morris assessed conditions at 8am and although that initial check proved inconclusive, he was able to give the card the go-ahead a couple of hours later.

Morris said, 'The temperatures have risen as expected and we are good to go.'

The seven-race fixture gets underway at 12.10pm, and the competitive eleven runner line-up for the totesport sponsored Peterborough Chase includes Monet's Garden, Snoopy Loopy, My Way de Solzen, Natal and the Charlie Swan-trained One Cool Cookie.
