Icon To Tackle Lucarno A clash of the generations is on the cards at Newmarket on Thursday with 2006 St Leger winner Sixties Icon crossing swords with this summer's Vodafone Derby fourth Lucarno in the Princess of Wales's WBX.COM Stakes.A total of 12 have been declared for the Group Two highlight, making it the biggest field since the same number went to post when Wagon Master struck gold in 1994.Sixties Icon is on something of a recovery mission after flopping as the well-backed favourite for the Coronation Cup at Epsom last month, while Lucarno has had a busy time and reappears after his second at Royal Ascot.Sir Michael Stoute has five wins to his name in the mile-and-a-half event and will be represented this time by Papal Bull, with fellow Newmarket trainer Saeed bin Suroor fielding Laverock.Ivy Creek will bid for a hat-trick under Steve Drowne.Other big-name entries include Admiral's Cruise and Mashaahed, with last year's winning trainer Mark Johnston represented by Eradicate.(C) PA Sport
