Irish Runners in Britain on Wednesday There is lots of racing action on Wednesday, with day two of Newmarket's Craven Meeting joined by the first day of the April Meeting at Cheltenham. Below are the Irish contenders headed for the Cotswolds as Willie Mullins' quest for back-to-back trainers' championships in the UK continues. Craven Free Bet Offer If you have already signed up to Novibet, check out more of the best betting sites and casino bonuses Dr Eggman & Toad Hall The opening Citipost Novices' Hurdle is worth just under £11k and Mullins is represented by Dr Eggman and Toad Hall. Dr Eggman, owned by Rich Ricci, ended a run of near misses by registering his first hurdles success at Limerick over 2m3f last month when landing a maiden. He's joint top-rated for this and will have Danny Mullins on board. Joining him is Toad Hall, running in the colours of Malcolm Denmark, also a maiden hurdle winner last time when he scored at Downpatrick over 2m6f in pleasing style. His earlier Punchestown second behind Familiar Dreams looks a useful piece of form and further progress could be incoming. Classic Getaway & O'Moore Park The most valuable race on the Cheltenham card is the Grade 2 Matt Hampson Foundation Silver Trophy Handicap Chase, with nearly £40k for the winner. Once more, Mullins fires a couple at the target. Classic Getaway is the mount of Danny Mullins and continued a positive run of form this season when landing the Grade 2 Red Mills Trial at Gowran Park (2m4f, soft) in February from stablemate Saint Sam. Only three runners lined up there. O'Moore Park, meanwhile, is another Ricci contender and is steadily getting things together since going chasing. He had two falls in the winter, but comes here after a fine third behind subsequent Grade 1 scorer Caldwell Potter over course and distance in last month's Jack Richards Novices' Limited Handicap Chase. The duo give Mullins a leading hand to play, while trainers' title rival Dan Skelton will send out Harper's Brook and Riskintheground for what could be a key race in their intriguing battle. Moon D'orange It isn't just Mullins bidding for feature race success, with John McConnell aiming Moon D'orange at this Grade 2 handicap. Moon D'orange was a winner around Cheltenham on Trials Day in January, all out for Sean Bowen that day to repel Grandeur D'ame, but he was pulled up in that Jack Richards Novices' Limited Handicap Chase last time at the Festival here. Prior to that, he had been most consistent this season since going chasing after moving from Fergal O'Brien to this trainer. He is running here from 3lb out of the handicap, however, and needs a clear personal best. Jumping Jet Gordon Elliott also has an interest as his mare Jumping Jet bids for success in the Brooklands Watches Golden Miller Racing Holman Handicap Chase over a marathon three-and-a-half-mile trip. She has a good record in the spring and comes here after finishing second at Down Royal (3m2f, good) on St Patrick's Day and then third in the Ulster National at Downpatrick over this sort of trip 17 days ago. She's the sole Elliott runner on the card and Danny Gilligan makes the journey for one mount at Cheltenham.
