Karsavina and Gardens left in Vermeille Two Irish raiders were among 13 left in at the first acceptance stage today for Sunday`s Group One Prix Vermeille.Aidan O`Brien`s Karsavina and Michael Grassick`s Lime Gardens are possibles for one of three Prix de l`Arc de Triomphe trials run at Longchamp that day.Lime Gardens landed the Group Three Prix Mierve at Deauville last time but had previously finished behind Karsavina when the pair were third and fifth to Lailani in the Irish Oaks at the Curragh.There are four British acceptors in Mot Juste (Ed Dunlop), Inchiri (Gerard Butler), Zanzibar (Michael Bell) and Love Everlasting (Mark Johnston).Aquarelliste, the French Oaks winner, is the standout amongst the domestic acceptors.The British acceptors in the Prix Niel are the Sagitta 2,000 Guineas winner Golan (Sir Michael Stoute), Masterful (John Gosden), Mot Juste, and the Barry Hills pair, Chancellor and Storming Home.A total of 16 acceptors stood their ground in this race, including the French Derby one-two, Anabaa Blue and Chichicastenango, plus King Of Tara and Maille Pistol.Sir Michael Stoute`s Little Rock, a withdrawal from the Grosser Preis von Baden, is one two British acceptors in the Group Two Prix Foy.Marienbard, Godolphin`s Yorkshire Cup winner, is the other in a race which could feature the King George VI And Queen Elizabeth Diamond Stakes third, Hightori.Paul Cole`s Guys and Dolls and Dupont (Willie Haggas) are the two British acceptors in the Group Three Prix Prix la Rochette for juveniles on the same card.
