King Sights Set On Kempton

My Way De Solzen remains on track for the Stan James King George VI Chase at Kempton on St Stephen's Day despite his lacklustre show at Haydock over the weekend.

The Arkle and Ladbrokes World Hurdle winner raced with plenty of zest in the Betfair Chase and bowled along in company with Kauto Star for much of the race.

But Alan King's charge faded once the taps were turned on and came home a tired fifth ? some 42 lengths behind the Gold Cup winner.

King said: 'He is fine but the trainer is not too pleased with himself.

'I thought I had him fit but he blew hard after the race and must have needed it.

'He will now go down the King George route.'

The sponsors quote My Way De Solzen at 7-1 to reverse form with Kauto Star at Kempton next month.
