LUCA HAS SOME LUCK IN MILAN

Luca Cumani sent out Simpatich to win the Premio Comina in Milan on Saturday.

In the frame in three of his four previous attempts, the 6-4 shot beat King Lycius by half a length in the extended-seven-furlong contest.

The Newmarket trainer`s other two runners at the meeting, Sungio (Premio Guido) and Scapavia (Premio Melzo), were both unplaced.

Another Newmarket trainer, Mick Quinlan, was also represented in the Premio Guido, for newcomers, by Mac Bobo, who was a creditable third.
