Limestone back in winning form Limestone Lad recorded the 25th victory of his sparkling career when defying top weight in the Brown Lad Handicap Hurdle at Naas this afternoon and could be back in action next weekend.Running for the second Saturday in a row, the nine-year-old showed he was coming back to his best and getting fitter as he made all the running for a decisive victory over his only real market rival Kadoun in the two and a half mile contest. Ridden for the first time by 20-year-old Martin Mooney, the odds-on favourite continually jumped well and gradually extended his advantage to delight his owner-trainer and breeder James Bowe.'The horse was in great form today and is coming right back to his best. He is enjoying it again and we might look at Navan next Sunday and then the Hatton`s Grace Hurdle at Fairyhouse,' said James Bowe.Martin Mooney was enjoying his eighth success in the saddle and the nine-year-old certainly responded generously for this 7lb claimer.'He is a gentleman of a horse and did it all for me. He was enjoying it towards the finish and it was a real thrill,' he said.
