Wootton Bassett’s Legacy Lives On On the day the death of his legendary sire Wootton Basset’s sad passing was announced, Straight Up made a winning debut on day three of the Listowel Harvest Festival. Stable representative Chris Armstrong said: "His progeny have engines, minds and have everything. There are obviously more crops to come, but his death is a massive blow to the whole team. To lose your star is a big one and he was the ultimate.” Danny Mullins Wins The Big Race Danny Mullins and Willie Mullins took the big race of the week, the Kerry National, with 16-1 shot Spanish Harlem. Ladies Day In Full Swing Day six of Listowel Harvest Festival was ladies day which drew in a huge crowd of 28,628.
