Llewellyn recovers for Kempton

Carl Llewellyn, who broke his nose in a heavy fall at Cheltenham yesterday, is poised to ride at Kempton tomorrow.

He was partnering the front-running Eskleybrook in the Ladbroke Trophy Chase when his mount fell three out while still in the lead.

'I`m still a little bit sore but I`m OK,' Llewellyn said today.

'I haven`t actually seen it but I`m told it was a crashing fall.

'I just got a kick in the face and I`ll be OK for tomorrow. I`m just a bit blocked up but hopefully I`ll be able to breathe a bit better tomorrow.'

Eskleybrook emerged unscathed from the fall and Llewellyn added: 'He was running well up to that point.'
