Martin Plots Ascot Raid Tony Martin is lining up a strong raiding party for the Shergar Cup meeting at Ascot this weekend, headed by Galway Festival winner Leg Spinner. The six-year-old scored over hurdles last week but could return to the level for the Carvil Shergar Stayers Cup.'I'd be keen enough to take over one or two,' said Martin. 'I would say that Leg Spinner and Top The Charts are the two most likely at this stage.'It all depends on how Top The Charts works in the morning. With Leg Spinner, he won well enough at Galway last week so if he is OK he will probably go.'He's as good over hurdles as he is on the level. He's won at Royal Ascot (when held at York in 2005) don't forget.'Top The Charts also has an entry in the Ebor and he could also run in that.'Arc Bleu has an entry at Ascot this weekend but we will more than likely wait for the Ebor with him. I'd say that's where he'd go next.'Salute Him (Shergar Challenge) will work with Top The Charts before we decide whether or not he goes to Ascot and Dream Champion could also go.'(C) PA Sport
