Barry Hills` Rainbow High, who was victorious in 1999 and finished fifth last year, tops the weights on 9st 13lb for the extended two and a half mile contest. Rainbow High`s presence means no less than nine horses will run from out of the handicap. Cover Up will represent the 2000 Guineas winning yard of Sir Michael Stoute, while Martin Pipe will be double-handed with Copeland and Queen`s Prize winner Guard Duty.Irish raider Ansar, who was just touched off by Bangalore in a thrilling finish on the Roodee last year, will bid to go one better this time around for Dermot Weld. The stg£50,000 Shadwell Stud Cheshire Oaks on the same card has attracted a field of seven fillies, four of whom - Gay Heroine, Inchiri, Rockerlong, Zaheemah - hold an entry in the Vodafone Oaks at Epsom next month. Gay Heroine, who finished second on her only run as a two-year-old, represents the Stoute yard, while Elrehaan is the representative of the John Dunlop stable in the Listed event over an extended one mile and three furlongs.
