McDonogh picks up a one day ban Declan McDonogh was given a one day suspension for an incident involving his mount Harper Valley and Ghostmilk at an early stage of the ten furlong handicap at Dundalk this evening. The former champion was found guilty of careless riding as Ghostmilk appeared to clip heels. McDonogh went on to win the race in good style aboard the Gordon Elliott-trained top-weight, while he was just denied half-an-hour later as Kempes was beaten in a titanic finish by Prince Erik.
