Meade hopes wind-op will help Rebel Noel Meade is under no illusions about Arch Rebel´s task in Sunday´s Tattersalls Gold Cup but has one new weapon up his sleeve. The County Meath trainer has given his globetrotting star a breathing operation in good time for his first assignment of the season at the Curragh, where he could meet the likes of Lucarno and Duke Of Marmalade. Arch Rebel was last seen finishing fourth to Doctor Dino in December´s Hong Kong Vase but was well-beaten on his reappearance in this race a year ago. Meade said: "It´s a big ask first time out in a race like that. He had a bit of a hold-up but it is the race we´ve been looking at all along. "The race may cut up into just a few runners so we may well take our chance. I´d like to get him out and he had a wind-op during the winter, which I would hope would help him find some improvement."
