Mullins off mark for Outside Yard Danny Mullins rode his first winner for a yard other than that of his boss, Jim Bolger, when he partnered Anne Marie Winters´ Lios Tulcha to victory in the Ladbrokes.com Handicap at Down Royal. The 7Ib claimer got to the front on the 16/1 shot over two furlongs out and his willing partner kept on well to beat All Heart by a length. That one is trained by Danny´s uncle Tom. Winters trains the E90,000 yearling (dam a French/German two-year-old sprint Listed winner) in Drogheda. Meanwhile Bashkirov (tailed off in the Epsom Derby) found the company of the three-year-old maiden to his liking, scoring by seven lengths. Seamie Heffernan´s mount was backed from 5/2 in the morning into 6/4 joint favouritism with the runner-up, Mourad.
