Music set to return Distant Music, the leading British-trained juvenile in 1999, heads the 12 entries published today for the Weatherbys Earl Of Sefton Stakes at Newmarket on Wednesday. The Barry Hills-trained colt finished third to Kalanisi and Montjeu in the Champion Stakes at Newmarket in October. Among possible rivals next week for the son of Distant View are Doncaster Mile winner Right Wing, the injury-plagued Border Arrow and the smart handicapper Katy Nowaitee. The Victor Chandler European Free Handicap has attracted 20 entries with Richard Hannon holding a strong hand. The Marlborough trainer won the race last year with Cape Town and has Bram Stoker, King`s Ironbridge, Reel Buddy and Zilch in this time. Another interesting entry is Sir Michael Stoute`s Ghayth, who dead-heated for third place in the Champagne Stakes at Doncaster in September.
