NH curtain comes down at Fairyhouse

Following the successful Easter Festival race action returns to Fairyhouse this Wednesday afternoon when they stage their final NH programme of the current campaign.

The Dunboyne Novice Hurdle over 2m4f is the most valuable race of the day while the females have a chance to show their mettle in the concluding mares bumper, confined to lady riders.

Course winner Livingstonebramble, a first winner in Ireland for The Winning Line Syndicate over Easter, and Rule Supreme, runner-up to Davenport Milenium in a 2m2f novice hurdle here last month, are among the remaining 32 entries for the feature.

Columba, a previous course winner of a 29-runner maiden hurdle in December, is also entered for the Dunboyne Novice Hurdle along with Eskimo Jack, who opened his account in a 30-runner Navan maiden hurdle last January.

First race at Fairyhouse on Wednesday is due off at 2.30pm and the going is currently good to firm.
