National course good to soft Aintree clerk of the course Andrew Tulloch reports the going on the National circuit as good to soft. "The Grand National course is basically good to soft," he said. "It´s a bit easier round the Canal Turn, as it always is down that area. "But it´s predominately good to soft, nice jumping ground. "The forecast tomorrow is for it to get up to 14 to 15 degrees with a bit of sunshine around and a nice pleasant day. "On Friday there might be a bit of drizzle, but nothing amounting to much with a similar temperature. "And on Saturday, it might be a bit chillier down to nine or 10 degrees and possibly the odd sunny interval as well."
