Navajo Moon wins Nijinsky Stakes

Outsider of the field Navajo Moon landed the Listed Nijinsky Stakes in the hands of Danny Grant.

The winner came from last to first to win the 1m1f contest by 1 1/4 lengths.

Winning trainer David Wachman, speaking from Ascot, said: ´I aways knew she was capable of scoring at this level. The ground was ideal this evening.´

´Danny gave her a great ride and she picked up really well for him in the straight. I will step her up to Group 3 level in due course, but her next engagement is likely to be the Listed kilboy Estate Stakes at the Curragh on Oaks weekend.´
