Navan Review Sher Beau benefited from a patient Andrew McNamara ride to run out a game winner of the Grade Three Irish Form Book An Uaimh Chase at Navan. Held up off a fast early pace, the Philip Fenton-trained nine-year-old made steady headway to join the leaders at the third-last. The Railway Man, Justpourit, No Full and Sher Beau jumped two out as one, but Sher Beau had plenty left in the tank and after a springheeled leap at the last, the 5/1 shot went on to beat No Full by 10 lengths. Wheresben defied top weight in the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Novice Handicap Chase Final. The 10-1 chance took up the running at the penultimate obstacle and stuck to his guns well to pass the post clear of Forest Leaves. Asian Royale finally put his best foot forward to land the Oldcastle Handicap Hurdle. Charles Byrnes´ seven-year-old had let down favourite-backers on his last five runs but that didn´t deter punters, who sent him off the 4-1 market leader. He appared to idle when taking the lead after the last but was kept up to his work by Davy Russell to beat Bluesea Cracker by a length and a half. Indianaca (4-1) built on a promising third on her hurdling debut at Naas when staying on takingly to land the Slane (Mares) Maiden Hurdle. A confident ride from Mark Bolger allowed Dover Street to come home unchallenged in the Kells Handicap Hurdle. The 20-1 chance pulled a long way clear with Oscar´s Emerald early on, and though the latter tired close home, Dover Street had plenty in the tank, winning by 11 lengths. An awkward leap at the final flight was not enough to stop Sandyzar (11-2) getting off the mark at the 14th time of asking under Shay Barry in the Kilcarn Maiden Hurdle.
